Life Skills
Strongtowers coordinates and directs workforce development initiatives responsive to the needs of Prince George's County, Maryland and surrounding jurisdictions. Partnering with state and local governments to provide Commercial Driver Training not only to the public, but to ex-offenders in their transition back into society. Their goal is to prevent returning citizens from going back to their former way of life.
Life skills are the skills that a person must possess in order to successfully live in today's world. These include knowing how to work at a job and be a part of a team, manage money, manage time, live as part of a family and learning effective communication skills. Unfortunately, many people grow to adulthood lacking necessary life skills to successfully thrive in their own lives. Therefore, life skills training for adults may become necessary.
Mentoring
Prison Ministry
Strongtowers Mentoring program is designed to help adults establish stable lives by reducing the chaos brought about by poverty, homelessness, under-employment, and the effects of incarceration. These person-to-person mentoring relationships improve lives by developing life skills and positive social networks that empower people to: remain housed, make a positive contribution to the local community, remain or become employed, advance their education, stay out of jail, and improve parenting.
Prison Ministry first starts with the Preaching of the Gospel of Jesus Christ and His Redemption plan unto Salvation.
From the understanding that sin is our sickness, we can't receive from the doctor approved plan/program of healing.
We look at ,Spiritual, Body and Soul.
the three parts of one's self, the whole Man. Is; Spiritual, Body and Soul. Brings Re-entry a Redemption of one's being. A reconciliation plan for you and I.
